The Eerie Story Behind A Borzoi Painting

Opening recently was a local star billed stage show called the innocents. And when you look at the stage you will see a picture and this the subject of many strange stories. It has been said that an unknown individual has held on to this picture for quite some time. The lady cannot recall why she bought the picture all she knew was she was going down the road, parked suddenly and bought it for reasons unknown to her up to now. You will find that further information on dog portrait is on that site.

How can I possibly afford this, she thought as she waited there for the clerk to take the photo from the window. School was round the corner and they needed her to purchase supplies, clothes and books for them. So she thought to herself first that she will tell the clerk that while it was a beautiful portrait, she just can’t afford to purchase it. I just can’t afford it, but as the clerk in the antique shop turned to put the picture back in the window she said in a very loud voice, I do want the picture, I can’t afford it, but I’m going to buy it.

And afterward she paid the attendant, got her painting and walked out still in disbelief about how she could not afford such a thing and how she will have a hard time explaining to her spouse her spur of the moment choice to purchase it. Painted between the late 1800′s and the early 1900′s, this featured a Borzoi, a Russian wolfhound and it was painted in oil. The Borzoi in the picture was painted in an almost straight on pose, capturing only the head and shoulders of the wolfhound and this something that someone whose eyes are familiar with the Borzoi should be able to point out, apart from the fact that it was a very alluring piece of art. And the shoulders and chest seem to be a bit out of proportion.

Oddly, the woman whose eyes were so trained to know what a Borzoi should exactly look like still did not let go of the portrait and finally bought it. Her husband, upon arriving home that night began to feel the exact same attraction his wife felt upon seeing that painting for the very first time and this surprised the wife for she thought that her husband would blow up once he sees that she overspent on something they did not need at all. You will gain a deeper understanding about dogs paintings by checking out that resource.

There never was an instance that two photographs of this portrait ever came out the same and there have been so many photo amateurs and experts that took shots of it. In some the dog appears to be almost three dimensional, in others flat, in almost all of the pictures whether they were in color or black and white there have been strange lights and in some cases a spectral face has been seen on the right side of the portrait.

As the husband and wife talked about the portrait, they lingered about the possibility of it being haunted by a supernatural force, but he quickly dismissed it, stating that light reflections or their overactive imaginations are to be blamed for nothing could possibly be unnatural about the painting. It was weird how all of a sudden, a huge ceramic plate fell with a clang on the floor but it was left intact without a crack at all.

During the time that director of the playhouse who is also its producer, heard about the portrait, he quickly went to the couple who gladly loaned it to him for it would be perfect for his play which was a story of the supernatural. The couple insisted that there was a supernatural force that accompanied that portrait that entered their home the day they bought it, and the couple hopes that letting this appear in a production such as the Innocents may assist them in discovering what or who it is. At the very least they are hoping this true.
